The Pitt Panthers football coaching staff has offered several athletes in the past couple of days. The majority of the offers that were sent out were to prospects from the state of Florida.

Tuesday, Jan. 24 offers
Taz Williams Jr. | 6-0 | 170 | Wide Receiver | 2025 | Texas
Williams, who plays high school football in Texas, is originally from the Pittsburgh area. His 15-plus other offers include Baylor, California, Michigan, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, and Nebraska.
Axzavian Alexander | 6-1 | 185 | Wide Receiver | 2024 | Florida
Alexander also has offers from Liberty, UMass, and USF.
Henry Hasselbeck | Quarterback | 6-3 | 170 | Massachussetts
Hasselbeck received an offer from Pitt after being visited by Pitt offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti. He also has an offer from UAB. It’s worth noting that he committed to play lacrosse at the University of Maryland back on Dec. 1.
Javion Hilson| 6-5 | 230 | Edge | Florida | 2025
Hilson has other offers from UCF, Marshall, Florida A&M, Western Kentucky, and Rhode Island.
Jeff Overton | 5-10 | 155 | Running Back | Virginia | 2025
Overton’s other reported offers are from Maryland, Virginia Tech, and Virginia.
Tye Hylton | 6-5 | 270 | Offensive Tackle | 2024
He’s been offered by Pitt, Florida State, Bowling Green, and USF within the past couple of days. He took an unofficial visit to Florida State on Jan. 21.
Monday, Jan. 23 offers
Braylon Vincent | 5-11 | 175 | Cornerback | Florida
Pitt is the second offer for Vincent. He also has an offer from FAU.
Cai Bates | 6-1.5 | 170 | Athlete | Florida | 2024
Bates is rated as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports. His list of 12-plus offers includes Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, and Miami (FL).
Cameron Gooden| 4 | 235 | Edge | Florida | 2025
Pitt is the first Division I offer for Gooden.
Dwayne Chaney | 6-5 | 290 | Offensive Lineman | 2024
Pitt is the first Power 5 offer for Chaney.
Efrem White | 6-3 | 150 | Athlete | Florida | 2026
White took an unofficial visit to UCF this past weekend. He also has offers from Florida State, NC State, Alabama, and USF.
Jordan Thomas| 6-3 | 260 | Offensive Guard | Florida | 2024
Pitt is the first Division I offer for Thomas.
Jordyn Bridgewater | 6-0 | 170 | Wide Receiver | Florida | 2024
Bridgewater also has offers from Liberty and Iowa State.
Micah Smith | 6-6 | 285 | Offensive Lineman | 2026
Smith also has offers from FAU, Indiana, Miami (FL), and USF.
Robert Jones | 6-1 | 170 | Athlete | Florida | 2024
Pitt is the fourth school to offer Jones.
Xavion Griffin | 6-0 | 185 | Athlete | Florida | 2024
Griffin is a prospect who plays both the safety and wide receiver positions. Pitt is the first offer reported for Griffin.
