Tennis Set to Host Elon, Texas State and ULM

HOUSTON – The University of Houston Tennis program will open its spring home slate at the Barbara Wallace Winston Tennis Facility for three matchups beginning Friday.
 
The first match is set to take place against Elon at 10 a.m., Friday, followed by Texas State at 9 a.m., Saturday and ULM at noon on Sunday.
 
Admission is free for all Houston Tennis matches and no student claim is necessary. Live stats can be found here.
 
The Cougars (1-2) are coming off a 6-1 victory against UTRGV in Waco, Texas, and are looking to continue their success at home during the 2023 campaign.
 
SCOUTING THE PHOENIX

  • Elon is in its 19th season under Head Coach Elizabeth Anderson.
  • The Phoenix are 1-1 on the season
  • This will be the first time in program history that Houston faces Elon. 

SCOUTING THE BOBCATS

  • Texas State is entering its first season under Head Coach Kendall Brooks.

  • The Bobcats finished their 2022 campaign, 6-16.
  • The Cougars own the all-time series, 8-0.
