Tom Brady rumors: Latest news, updates on potential 2023 landing spots if he leaves Buccaneers

Well, here we go again.

The last time Tom Brady was a free agent, it led to some entertaining storylines, months of speculation and a question of a certain “MFer.”

With Brady set to hit free agency again, the rumor mill has begun to churn. Will Brady end up back with the Bucs or will the quarterback chase greener pastures once again beyond the Bay?

Brady is coming off another Brady-esque season with Tampa Bay. While the Buccaneers slipped to an 8-9 record this year, that wasn’t the fault of Brady, who threw for 25 touchdowns to nine interceptions over 4,694 passing yards this season. He also completed 66.8 percent of his passes.

This offseason is going to be drastically different than the last for Brady, which featured a retirement, an un-retirement, and a change in head coach for Tampa Bay. It seems almost certain that Brady is going to gear up for his 24th year in the league.

All that’s to say Brady still has one-upped Father Time, so one team may be very lucky to win the Brady sweepstakes come this offseason.

There are three teams in the mix for Tom Brady, and all three are familiar rumored landing spots: The Raiders, the Titans and the 49ers.

The Raiders make sense because of the connection to Josh McDaniels, while the 49ers are Tom Brady’s favorite boyhood team. The Titans had been an interesting landing spot, and were pursuing Brady when he was a free agent in 2020.

For now, those are the three teams involved, but it’s early yet in the offseason, so
