Picking up their 13th transfer commitment, the Badgers reeled in Oklahoma State transfer wide receiver Bryson Green on Friday, capping off a monster seven days for the program.

UW beat out Auburn, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, and others for Green, who is coming off a sophomore season in which he caught 36 passes for 585 yards and five touchdowns in 10 games for the Cowboys. Green had three 100-yard receiving efforts, including 133 yards and a touchdown in a win over No. 22 Texas in October.

The second-leading receiver for OSU in 2022, Green played in 23 games over the last two seasons, including six starts as a true freshman in 2021. Coming out of Allen High School in Texas, Green held scholarship offers from the likes of Auburn, Baylor, Michigan State, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ole Miss, TCU, Texas Tech, Utah, Virginia Tech, Washington, and Washington State.

Green is the fourth transfer wide receiver for UW, who also pulled verbal commitments from C.J. Williams (USC), Will Pauling (Cincinnati), and Quincy Burroughs (Cincinnati). The Badgers also have transfer commitments from Jason Maitre (Boston College), quarterback Nick Evers (Oklahoma), quarterback Braedyn Locke (Mississippi State), center Jake Renfro (Cincinnati), offensive lineman Joe Huber (Cincinnati) edge rusher Jeff Pietrowski (Michigan State), quarterback Tanner Mordecai (SMU), kicker Nathanial Vakos (Ohio), and defensive end Darian Varner (Temple).

Green will bolster a UW receiver core that returns all seven of its scholarship players from the 2022 season. Junior Chimere Dike, who led the team with 689 yards and six touchdowns on 47 receptions. Redshirt freshman Skyler Bell (30 rec., 445 yards, 5 TD’s) and sophomore Keontez Lewis (20 rec., 313 yards, 3 TD’s) had breakout seasons with the Badgers as well.
